A visitor comes to the door one day. He enters the house. Makes himself comfortable. His friends follow. They take over everything, the house, people’s lives, imagination, sanity. They take over the neighbourhood. The city. All life. Who are they? A response to the urban challenge within us all. This is an urban legend, a view from the hall side of the letterbox. It leaves us open-mouthed. Beware. Don’t be open-mouthed for long, or visitors will pounce in. Without being invited. Without being asked.
And don’t answer the door unless you know who’s there!
