Éamonn Ó Loingsigh was born and raised in Inchicore, Dublin but moved West to Galway in the eighties. He and his family now live in Claregalway, County Galway. The author is a former Irish teacher who taught at Coláiste Iarflatha Naofa, Tuam. He wrote the textbooks Blas Ardleibheal and Flúirse 3 . He has already published several Irish language books; the plays Pádraicín is Ainm Dom, Attack, Níl aon dul ón gCinniúint and Jackie Mo Dheartháir and the novel Na Comharsana Nua.
