The new series Scéalta Scéine contains four new short thrillers which are suitable for readers between 8 and 11 years of age. These are lively and fast-paced books which young readers who are building on their reading skills will enjoy. The series is translated to simple, easy-to-understand Irish by Gormfhlaith Ní Thuairisg and Máirín Ní Ghadhra who are both journalists with RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta. The series was originally published in English under the title Freestylers Short Thrillers and the books were written by Andrew Fusek Peters. The Irish-language editions were published by Cló Iar-Chonnacht in association with COGG.
