Workshop in the Irish Writers’ Centre on the 16th May

The aim of this one-day workshop is to share the tools of the craft with prose-writers or aspiring prose-writers. The workshop will cover how to come up with and develop stories; the editing process will be discussed and an overveiw of the life of the professional writer.

There are 14 places on the course and the fee is only €60 (or €50 for members).

Alex writes fiction and non-fiction. Cois Life have published three of his books:

Splancanna ó shaol eile (2013): Insisghts into life in Brazil in 100 essays and photographs.

Gonta (2012): Short stories about the wounds of the people of Bahia.

Aiséirí (2011): A novel about idealism, loyalty, love … and coffee.

Cois Life will publish his next book, An Tearmann, a novel, in 2016.
