International writing workshop with Cló Iar-Chonnacht 10 March 2021 – Posted in: News

Cló Iar-Chonnacht will run an online writing workshop for Irish-language authors living outside of Ireland on 20 March, 2021. This workshop will be an opportunity for the writing community around the world to come together in an online format and work together. There will be room for 8 participants on the workshop.
Irish-language writers who would like to take part in the workshop are invited to send a short story, poems (up to 3 poems), an excerpt from a novel, or prose ( 5 – 10 pages) or a flash fiction story to Micheál Ó Conghaile, the director of Cló Iar-Chonnacht at moccic22@outlook.com on or before 12 March, 2021.
The most suitable works will be selected and these can be discussed and worked on during the workshop. Each participant will receive a copy of the other participants work ahead of time to give everyone an opportunity to read each others work. This way, all of the participants will be able to take an active part in the workshop and to learn from each other’s strengths and weaknesses.
