Cló Iar-Chonnachta is a publishing company located in Connemara, Co. Galway, on the west coast of Ireland.

We are a Gaeltacht-based company and publish books in Irish including novels, short stories, plays, poetry, biography, history, music, literary criticism, material for those learning Irish, teenage fiction and children’s books.

We are also a traditional Irish music label and have an extensive catalogue of albums, including a large number of sean-nós recordings.

25th Anniversary Celebrations: We're celebrating our 25th anniversary all year - we've teamed up with RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta, with The Galway Arts Festival, the IMRAM literary festival in Dublin among others to put a schedule of concerts and special events together as part of the celebrations. National Workshops for Irish-language writers - As part of our 25th anniversary celebrations we will be holding two national workshops in creative writing for up and coming writers in the Irish-language. To apply for a place and for more information click here  

IMRAM 2010 -  

The IMRAM Irish-language literature festival will run in Dublin from 14 - 29 September and features a wide range of excellent events to include readings, book launches, workshops, spoken word, music and visual art. See the full programme here .
